다양한 아두이노용 무선 실드 제품 라인업을 갖추고 있는 DFRobot에서 표준 Arduino, MEGA, Romeo 보드 및 실드에 장착할 수 있는 WiFi Shield V3 For Arduino PCB Antenna (802.11b/g/n) 를 출시했다.
이 제품은 AP + STA 듀얼 모드를 지원해 가정용 라우터 네트워크에 연결하기가 쉬운 장점을 가지고 있다. AP 네트워크에 로그인하려면 핸드폰이나 패드만 가지고 있으면 된다. 모듈에 로그인하여 무선 이름을 설정하면 AT 명령 설정이 필요없이도 WiFi 네트워크에 연결할 수 있다.
이 모듈은 동적 전력 관리를 사용하여 저전력 소비(대기 모드: <80uA; 정상 모드: 8mA; 최대 전류: 200mA)가 가능해 대기 모드를 필요로 하는 프로토 타입에 특히 유용하다. 뿐만 아니라 IEEE802.11n은 더 높은 전송 속도와 보다 넓은 적용 범위, 강한 호환성을 자랑해 신뢰할 수 있는 최신 무선 전송 프로토콜이다.

| DFRobot WiFi Shield, is part of our wireless family product. This WIFI Shield V3 supports AP + STA dual mode, and is extremely easy to connect to a home router network. You only need a mobile phone or Pad to log in the AP network of this module (similar way with some router configuration tool). After logging in the module and set the Wireless name, it is ready to connect the WIFI network (No AT command setup required, which is often very complex).
This module uses dynamic power management to achieve low power consumption capability (standby: <80uA; normal mode average: 8mA; peak: 200mA). This is especially useful in prototyping which not only demands low power consumption, but also requires a standby mode. The module provides UART(TTL) to IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless communication. IEEE802.11n is a newest wireless transmission protocol which features higher transmission speed, wider coverage, stronger compatibility and much more reliability. Currently many wireless electronic equipment manufacturers have been applying this standard (IEEE802.11n) to a large number of products. With this WIFI Shield, any device with UART can easily set up a wireless network and achieve remote management and controlling. This is an excellent choice for those with wireless communication compatibility issue.
